The information and Communication Technology Unit is in charge of :

 Installation, update, maintenance, monitoring, control of Servers/Computers and their operating Systems ( Window and Linux )

 Installation, update, maintenance, monitoring, control of Applications running on Servers and Computers

 Connection of Users on the Local Area Network ( LAN ) for information sharing, use of intranet and Printers sharing

 Make available the Internet connection ( for information and communication )

 Implementation and Maintenance of the Website of MINICOM

 Insure the functionality of the Phone System in MINICOM

 Insure the logical and physical Security of the information System of MINICOM ( installation of Anti-Virus of Passwords, Server room access control )

 Coordination and assistance of all ICT activities of the Ministry

 Propose, design and implementation of new Projects to meet the Ministry’s needs.

 Identify Training needs for all users and make a proposal
