Hon. Minister Soraya Hakuziyaremye officially opened OPEX, today.

Kigali, Saturday, 29th  February 2020:  Hon. Minister Soraya HAKUZIYAREMYE officially opened the Omani Products Exhibition that will be held in Kigali Convention Centre from 29 February – 3 March, 2020, from 11AM to 7PM.

Organised by a committee formed by the Public Authority for Investment Promotion and Export Development (Ithraa), the Public Establishment for Industrial Estates – Madayn, and Oman Chamber of Commerce and Industry (OCCI); the Omani Products Exhibition in Rwanda aspires to enhance the Sultanate’s presence on the global trade map, explore new markets for the Omani products in Rwanda and the neighbouring African countries, observe promising trade opportunities and deals, and strengthen bilateral relations between the two countries.

The exhibition is expected to showcase a host of leading Omani businesses from food and beverage, plastics, textiles, metals and minerals, construction and logistics.

Hon. Minister Soraya HAKUZIYAREMYE with other officials toured the exhibition, and addressing to the participants, she took that  opportunity to acknowledge their  dedication to strengthening Rwanda-Oman trade and business relations and EAC-Oman trade and business relations in the greater sense through organizing the exhibition where exhibitors are acquainted with a platform to promote their products and services, gather ideas for innovation and network in the sphere of public and private sector to exchange experience.
