Kigali, Rwanda, May 16th, 2012— The Ministry of Trade and Industry in conjunction with IFC, member of the World Bank Group opened the 4th Network of Reformers (NoR) conference for East and Southern Africa at SERENA Hotel.

Turkish Airlines officially launched its Kigali flights today May 15, 2012. Carrier will commence with three flights a week connecting Kigali- Entebbe to Istanbul. The water salute was attended by the Minister of Foreign Affairs & Cooperation Hon. Louise Mushyikiwabo, the Minister of Infrastructure Hon Nsengiyumva Albert, and the Minister of Trade and Industry Hon. Francois Kanimba among other guests.

The Minister of Trade and Industry wishes to inform the general public that with effect from Thursday 10th May 2012, the prices of the following petroleum products shall be as follows:

 The Kigali base price for Super must not exceed 1,030 RWF per liter;

 The Kigali base price for Diesel is maintained at 1,000 RWF per liter.

KIGALI-As part of events to mark the 2012 International Labour Day, the Ministry of Trade and Industry awarded its outstanding employees. The event was held on 4th May,2012 at LEMIGO Hotel and presided over by the Minister of Trade and Industry, François Kanimba.
